Our Therapeutic Art Program is a group-based program for adults that combines the process of art making with therapeutic interventions to enhance physical, mental and emotional well-being.  It is a way to express yourself differently through art.  Art uses the creative process to reconcile emotional conflicts and foster self-awareness.

You not only learn from our therapists, coordinators, and rehabilitative staff, but from other group members as well.  This is a program that will increase your skills in social competency, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, effective communication, moral reasoning, self-awareness, self-confidence, and help you to set and achieve life goals.

In a safe and nurturing environment, participants will be invited to use a wide variety of creative processes and artistic mediums including drawing, painting, clay, ceramics, and writing to safely and gently travel within and explore your inner landscape allowing new insight, understanding, integrating and healing.  There are no rules, no right or wrong; you just use the materials in whichever way feels right at the time.

Recipients participate in group therapy sessions conducted by licensed clinicians.  These sessions are educational and process based.  Group topics use evidence based interventions and are designed to meet recipients needs.

All services are overseen by a licensed clinician.
